LY series O-ring

We have the ability to supply seals in almost any cross section and diameter size or shape, backed by a stock guarantee for the most common items and a shorter lead time for the rest of the product.

The encapsulated "O" ring is an "O" ring combined with a seamless and uniform FEP/PFA package that wraps the elastic core and completely protects it from media. They combine the dynamic properties of elastic "O" rings with the elasticity of FEP/PFA to extreme temperatures and harmful chemicals.

Encapsulation option

• FEP packaged in standard materials for all applications up to 205°C, tolerates almost all chemicals and uses advanced thermoforming processes for seamless packaging

• PFA encapsulation and FEP encapsulation

Has the same characteristics, but has higher heat resistance for applications above 205°C. It is also resistant to almost all chemicals and seamlessly connects through advanced thermoforming processes.

Inner core/profile options

• The best material choice commercially available for silicone inner cores, combined with lower Shore hardness and greater elasticity than fluoro rubber ™, provides an excellent material choice for most applications.

• The fluorine rubber inner core has higher chemical resistance than silicone. Fluororubber ™ provides greater chemical erosion elasticity in case of package damage.

• Silicone hollow inner cores have higher compressibility than solid silicone cores, with hardness similar to standard elastic "O" rings. Hollow flexibility means less clamping force is needed to achieve its sealing capability. Ideal for fragile applications using sensitive materials such as glass or lightweight plastics. Apply to sealed areas where space may be needed to move during operation.
